NHS wigs Clients

Nicky Oliver works with the Teenage Cancer Trust Charity, many NHS Hospitals and the Little Princess Trust giving consultations and fitting wigs for those suffering hair loss due to illness or medical treatment.  There is a full list of organisations below.

Nicky Oliver is the only Manchester city centre listed wig-fitting salon appointed to The Christie hospital, by the leading European wig distributor Dimples, who have created a specific range of wigs which are available on NHS prescription.

In the salon‘s wig room clients have complete privacy and benefit from a top celebrity hairdresser discussing their needs, helping them to choose their wig and fitting it for them.

Your NHS vouchers include your wig being trimmed to suit your face but as the wigs are ‘ready to wear’ a charge will be made for any additional re-styling.

When a client with hair loss first comes to the salon, their self-esteem can be at an all-time low, but by the time they leave wearing the right wig for them, they feel like themselves again.

HOW TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT WITH US

You will need to ask the hospital where you are having your treatment for your NHS prescription or vouchers for your wig.

So that we know what style and hair colour you had, we ask you to provide three different photographs of yourself before you started treatment – one from the front and one from left & right showing a slight side profile. We ask for three pictures because your hair style and colour often looks different in photographs and we want to select the best wigs to show you.

Email the photographs to us with your name, email address and telephone number. We will then contact you within 48 hours during office hours Monday to Friday.

Our email address is: wigs@nickyoliver.com
